Refund Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

Subtextual itself is free. This policy covers what you can buy for Subtextual AI: the $5 monthly subscription, Subtextual Patron (from $10 a month) and packs of added replies ($10), in US dollars, including any sales tax or VAT, all sold through Link, Stripe’s checkout service.

If it isn’t working for you, there are two ways to get your money back within 14 days of a charge. Write to info@editing.help, and that charge is refunded in full, no questions asked. Or delete your account, and the charge is refunded automatically, minus the AI you’ve already used.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time with Manage… in Subtextual’s Settings → AI, which opens Stripe’s billing portal, or in your Link account at link.com. Cancelling stops future charges. Subtextual AI keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Refunds

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or payment method you used, through Link. They usually appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Subtextual can’t refund to a different method. You can also ask Link for help with a charge at support.link.com.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn’t limit any right you have under the consumer law where you live. If you’re in the EU or UK, you have a right to cancel a subscription, a Patron membership or a pack of added replies within 14 days of buying it. Write to us within those 14 days and the charge is refunded in full, or ask Link’s support and include “cooling off period”, as Link’s terms describe.

Questions

Write to info@editing.help with the email address on your account and the date of the charge. Replies come within 3 business days. By post: Dev Edit Portland, Inc., 3055 NW Yeon Ave #747, Portland, OR 97210.
